The challenge

The National Bank of Oman set out with an ambitious vision: to become an employer of choice for women across the Middle East.

Recognising the cultural barriers many women faced in progressing into leadership roles, the bank wanted to develop confidence, leadership capability and a strong support network that would enable more women to thrive.

Our approach

We partnered with the bank to design and deliver a year-long leadership development programme centred on emotional intelligence, confidence and authentic leadership.

The programme combined workshops on topics including assertiveness, courageous conversations and presentation skills with one-to-one coaching and close collaboration with senior leaders to ensure every element reflected the cultural context of the organisation.

Alongside the development programme, we coached the bank's most senior female executive and helped establish Together We Can, a peer support network that encouraged connection, learning and shared growth across the organisation.

The impact

The transformation was remarkable. Women who initially lacked the confidence to contribute in group discussions were, by the end of the programme, confidently presenting to more than 60 senior colleagues.

The programme helped develop stronger leadership capability, increased confidence and created a supportive community that continues to encourage women to realise their potential. Our partnership with the National Bank of Oman continues today as we support the next generation of female leaders.
