The challenge

Arsenal Football Club wanted to strengthen the leadership capability of both its graduate programme and future managers through engaging, practical behavioural development. The aim was to equip delegates with the confidence, self-awareness and skills to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment, while ensuring every programme reflected the club's culture and values.

Our approach

We began by working closely with key stakeholders to understand the organisation, its people and the behaviours that underpin success. This insight enabled us to redesign and deliver two bespoke leadership programmes focused on Managing Change and Effective Team Working.

The workshops combined emotional intelligence, practical leadership tools and real workplace scenarios with opportunities for discussion, reflection and action planning. Designed to be highly interactive, they encouraged delegates to share experiences, challenge their thinking and build confidence in applying new skills.

Following the success of the graduate programme, we were invited to deliver the same development to around 40 current and aspiring managers from across the business, including Commercial, IT, Events, Community and Security.

The impact

The programmes received outstanding feedback and quickly became an important part of the club's leadership development journey. Delegates valued the practical nature of the workshops, the opportunity to learn from one another and the immediate relevance to their roles.
